problem with lsqlin

I am using lsqlin to solve a linear least squares problem with boundary cons

traints like Aeq*x=beq. In particular I want to fit a 4-dimensional polynomi

al of second degree to a set of data with some given values at the boundary.

Mostly that works quite we

ll, but sometimes a get no feasible solution with the messages:

Exiting: the solution is unbounded and at infinity;

the constraints are not restrictive enough.

The equality constraints are dependent.

The system of equality constraints is not consistent.

There is no feasible solution.

The polynomial parameters are nearly infinity in spite of the data seems to

be in usual range. May the arrangement of the data points be a problem? What

might be the problem?
