I have to solve a very large generalized eigenvalue problem. It is a

minimization I'm interested in the smallest Eigenvalues. Using eig in

matlab doesn't give me good enough results especially of the smaller

eigenvalues. Is there another method than using the built in command,

or good code for the problem in another language?

All help would be very usefull.
